About the Role
Toast Real Estate Group is seeking a creative and proactive Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to manage social media and support marketing efforts across our real estate brand, Toast Real Estate Group, and our newly launched podcast, Off Script. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing, content creation, and brand growth. While social media management will be the primary focus, this position will also support the Marketing Manager with marketing initiatives spanning our team of 8 real estate agents.
This part-time role (20-25 hours/week) will transition to full-time within 3-6 months, offering career growth, hands-on experience, and collaboration within a supportive and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Management (Primary Focus)
- Manage and execute content strategies for Toast Real Estate Group and Off Script across Facebook & Instagram.
- Schedule and lead content creation sessions with the team (minimum 1-2 times/month)
- Brainstorm fresh and engaging content ideas that align with brand messaging.
- Create and post weekly Instagram stories for Toast (e.g., agent home sales, under contract & sold updates).
- Work closely with Off Script Videographer to develop and promote podcast content.
2. Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Assist with design for Toast open houses and event flyers, social media graphics, email marketing, and Off Script products.
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials.
- Primary design platform: Canva (Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a plus).
3. Email Marketing & Blog Content
- Assist in creating and distributing weekly email marketing campaigns, including:
- Agent newsletters
- Buyer-in-search emails
- Off Script episode announcements
- Create weekly blog posts for Toast’s Weekend Events and cross-promote on social media.
4. Website Maintenance
- Assist in updating the Toast website to ensure content is current and engaging.
5. Event Coordination & Marketing Support
- Provide logistical and promotional support for marketing events, including vendor outreach and on-site assistance.
- Assist with marketing initiatives supporting Toast’s 8 real estate agents.
Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; marketing-related coursework or degree preferred (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Journalism, Business).
- 1 year of experience in social media management and basic graphic design preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail).
- Experience with Canva (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
- Comfortable updating websites and working within basic CRM platforms.
Personal Attributes:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Self-starter with a creative mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
