Role Description
The Strategic Finance & Analytics (SF&A) team is responsible for providing data-driven insights to inform strategic, financial, and operational decision-making across the company. We’re seeking a Senior Director to lead our Fintech FS&A teams to drive initiatives including business planning, corporate strategy, and strategic projects. This is a high-impact role that will offer substantial senior leadership exposure and the opportunity to drive long-term shareholder value in a hyper-growth environment at scale.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial and strategic thought leadership supported by rigorous analysis, with a focus on business planning, corporate strategy, and capital allocation.
- Facilitate executive decision-making by translating sophisticated analysis into actionable financial & operational recommendations. Examples include : resource prioritization, monitoring leading indicators to predict business outcomes, and helping leaders meet operational goals.
- Own Fintech financial reporting and analytics processes. Examples include : weekly pacing of operational KPIs, monthly P&L reporting, and long-term forecasting of material KPIs.
- Drive strategic initiatives through a combination of business partnering, analytical insight, and project management.
- Lead and develop a team of high-performing finance and analytics professionals.
- Collaborate across all levels of the organization via cross-functional relationships and provide a nuanced understanding of Toast’s business model, including unit economics, customer experience, competitive context, pricing and internal processes.
