Senior Director of Strategic Finance & Analytics, Fintech
Role Description
The Strategic Finance & Analytics (SF&A) team is responsible for providing data-driven insights to inform strategic, financial, and operational decision-making across the company. We're seeking a Senior Director to lead our Fintech FS&A teams to drive initiatives including business planning, corporate strategy, and strategic projects. This is a high-impact role that will offer substantial senior leadership exposure and the opportunity to drive long-term shareholder value in a hyper-growth environment at scale.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial and strategic thought leadership supported by rigorous analysis, with a focus on business planning, corporate strategy, and capital allocation
- Facilitate executive decision-making by translating sophisticated analysis into actionable financial & operational recommendations. Examples include : resource prioritization, monitoring leading indicators to predict business outcomes, and helping leaders meet operational goals
- Own Fintech financial reporting and analytics processes. Examples include : weekly pacing of operational KPIs, monthly P&L reporting, and long-term forecasting of material KPIs
- Drive strategic initiatives through a combination of business partnering, analytical insight, and project management
- Lead and develop a team of high-performing finance and analytics professionals
- Collaborate across all levels of the organization via cross-functional relationships and provide a nuanced understanding of Toast's business model, including unit economics, customer experience, competitive context, pricing and internal processes

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus / commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
