Food Service Team Member

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic team. If you have a passion for the food industry and providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you. This role will be primarily for mid-day to closing shifts.

DUTIES:
- Assist in various tasks within a cafe setting
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall dining experience
- Handle transactions using a cash register or CAKE POS system
- Support restaurant bussing tables and overall cleanliness of FOH restaurant
- Properly make smoothies, bowls, toasts and coffees in a timely fashion while maintaining brand consistency, speed and presentations standards
- Prepping all items on line including chopping, cutting and making recipes from brand guidelines recipe books (prior kitchen experience required)
- Restocking all disposable wares, cups and merchadising station
- Helping with BOH duties including cold press juicing, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and trash removal
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations

Requirements:
- Prior experience in the food industry, grocery store, or cafe environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele
- Ability to multitask and demonstrate effective time management
- Basic culinary knowledge is advantageous
- Serv Safe Certification
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
