About the Inventory Control Specialist role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Inventory Control Specialist. If you thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment and possess a strong commitment to quality and compliance, this role offers an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to our success. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a key role in managing inventory processes and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee various warehouse functions, including receiving, shipping, inventory cycle counting, maintaining and ordering shipping supplies, record-keeping, and warehouse organization.
· Ensure all activities meet departmental schedules, committed timelines, and legal requirements while adhering to cGMP, quality, and safety compliance standards.
· Receive and verify goods against shipping documents, process paperwork, and complete necessary transactions.
· Stage, deliver, and process items in the appropriate locations for warehouse personnel to perform the put-away process.
· Inspect shipments and freight upon receipt, document any signs of damage or discrepancies in quality or quantity, and promptly inform area management of findings.
Qualifications:
· Effective time management skills, with the ability to meet targets and coordinate activities with team members.
· Knowledge and understanding of cGMP, safety compliance, and relevant rules and regulations.
· Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for seamless coordination with co-workers and other department personnel.
· Self-driven, motivated, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
· Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer programs.
· Flexibility to work flexible hours as needed to support operational requirements.
· Proven ability to manage changing and multiple priorities.
· Physical ability to stand for an extended period, walk, reach with hands and arms, lift, and move up to 50 pounds.
