We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Manage phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the dental team.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding care plans, treatment options, and insurance coverage.
- Process medical collections and ensure accurate billing information is recorded.
- Maintain patient records using Dentrix dental software, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Assist in managing office supplies and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide support to dental staff as needed, contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role within a dental office or clinic is preferred.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for scheduling and record management (experience with Dentrix is a plus).
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this will enhance patient communication.
- Knowledge of care plans and medical collections is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
