Dealer Trade Driver Needed

About the Position

We are seeking experienced and reliable Dealer Trade Drivers to service our business. This is an on-call opportunity to be your own boss. We seek independent contractors with the flexibility to provide services during various shifts, including weekends. The ideal people will have a clean driving record, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.

Services Required

• Safely transport vehicles between dealership locations within Michigan and across state lines.
• Transport highly confidential/high value documents and items in a secure fashion between dealerships.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logs and paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to dealership personnel.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to easily adapt to multiple vehicle types (cars, vans, trucks etc)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to select efficient routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Knowledge and ability to create and submit your invoices for payment in a timely manner.

If you have always dreamed of being your own boss or are an experienced 1099 Independent Contractor, we would like to evaluate your services for our business. Current service providers bill us an average of $14-$16hr based on trip type/length. We'd like to stay in that budget range.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 20 per week
