Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cabinetry and space planning with the ability to translate client needs into beautiful and functional kitchen, bath and entertainment spaces. This role requires experience with design software and material selection to ensure successful execution from concept to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Create detailed cabinet designs using drafting software.
· Select appropriate cabinetry materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
· Collaborate with our sales,production and installation teams to ensure designs meet both aesthetic and technical standards.
· Adapt designs based on feedback and evolving project requirements.
· Completedesigns in a timely manner in relation to the project scope and deadlines.
Qualifications:
· 2 years of experience in cabinetry design, millwork, or a related industry.
· Proficiency in cabinet design software.
· Strong knowledge of cabinetry layout principles, materials, and finishes.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of kitchen,bath and entertainment appliances and features, and their integration into cabinetry design.
· Experience with high-end architectural elements and installations is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
· Sitting for Extended Periods – Majority of the work involves using a computer to create designs, requiring prolonged sitting.
· Fine Motor Skills – Frequent use of hands for drafting, sketching, and manipulating design software.
· Occasional Standing and Walking – May need to visit project sites, or collaborate with production teams on the shop floor.
· Lifting and Carrying – Occasionally lifting material samples, cabinetry components, or design boards (up to 25 lbs).
· Visual Acuity – Strong vision required for detailed design work, reading blueprints, and working with color and materials.
· Communication – Clear speech and hearing abilities to interact with clients, contractors, and team members effectively.
