APT Research is hiring a Mission & Integration Systems Modeling Engineer in Huntsville, AL to work full-time supporting and developing the Operations Concept Sequence of Events (OCSE) model, Mission Success Tree, Requirements Validation Models and support the development of Interface Control Document (ICD) SysML Models.

Responsibilities
- Develop and own the Operations Concept Sequence of Events (OCSE) model, Mission Success Tree, Requirements Validation Models. as well as support the development of Interface Control Document (ICD) SysML Models
- Collaborate with the NASA team to understand the MAV CONOPS and other MAVIS subsystems to capture technical content required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5 years of applicable experience
- Strong MBSE expertise with proficiency in SysML and experience using MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, Rhapsody).
- Experience in developing complex Sequence Diagrams that describe sequence of events models for space missions or other complex aerospace systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop Requirements Validation Models, Mission Success Trees, and Goal Trees.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Systems engineering experience in space systems, launch vehicles, or deep-space missions.
- Experience following a disciplined Model Developmemnt Plan or similar structured MBSE frameworks.
- Must be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance if needed.

Requires ability to travel domestically (within the U.S.)
Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift >15 lbs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgement
