Responsibilities
- Define verification methods (test, analysis, inspection, or demonstration) for each requirement
- Be able to analyze and allocate system requirements into subsystem requirements for propulsion, avionics, structures & mechanisms, guidance & control systems and flight software
- Support derivation of interface requirements and maintain consistency across disciplines
- Establish and manage requirement baselines in coordination with Configuration Management (CM).
- Participate in requirements peer reviews
- Work with the design team to confirm compliance with requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong knowledge of requirements writing best practices (Complete, Consistent, Correct, Feasible, Necessary, Singular, Succinct, Unambiguous, Verifiable, What/Not How).
- 5 years of experience in requirements development for aerospace or defense systems
- Experience with IBM DOORS NG for requirements management and traceability.
- Experience defining and executing verification & validation (V&V) methods (test, analysis, inspection, or demonstration).
- Must be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance if needed
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Systems engineering experience in space systems, launch vehicles, or deep-space missions.
- Proficiency in MBSE methodologies and SysML (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler).

- Ability to interact professionally with coworkers, management, and customers
Requires ability to travel domestically (within the U.S.)
Physical Requirements
- Requires sitting for extended periods of time at a workstation / desk
- Ability to lift >15 lbs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, make rational decisions, and to exercise good judgement
- Work attire must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk / hazard to the employee or others
