Job Title : GNCP FSW - Verification Engineer – Orion Program
Denver, CO
Position Overview :
We are seeking a GNCP FSW Verification Engineer to support the verification and validation of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Flight Software (FSW) for the Orion spacecraft . This role will focus on developing and executing software test procedures to ensure the reliability and safety of Orion’s mission-critical flight software.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute Python-based test scripts for software verification.
- Perform functional and regression testing to validate GN&C flight software behavior.
- Collaborate with software engineers and systems engineers to refine test requirements.
- Analyze test results, document discrepancies, and support debugging activities.
- Work with simulation tools such as Matlab / Simulink to validate GN&C algorithms.
- Ensure compliance with NASA and Lockheed Martin software verification standards.
- Maintain a high level of detail orientation to ensure rigorous software validation.
