The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support cooks and kitchen staff.
• Buss tables and help with general restaurant cleanliness during busy periods.
• Ensure that all items are properly sanitized according to health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.

Skills

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of food service operations and culinary practices is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic hospitality environment.
