Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated Intake Specialist with a legal background to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. This role requires a friendly and energetic individual with phone experience, a professional demeanor, and the ability to guide potential clients through the intake process. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent client care while adhering to strict protocols.

Key Responsibilities :

Respond to calls from the Firm’s potential new clients with a friendly and professional tone.
Gather detailed information from prospective clients regarding their legal issues and document it accurately.
Explain the firm’s practice areas and provide general information about the legal process.
Evaluate potential clients' cases based on established guidelines to determine eligibility for legal services.
Coordinate and schedule initial consultations for attorneys.
Provide resources or referrals to callers whose needs fall outside the firm’s scope of practice.
Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to all professional and legal standards.
Work collaboratively with the legal team to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Qualifications :

Experience : Prior experience in a law firm or legal setting is preferred.

Communication Skills : Strong phone communication skills with a friendly, clear, and energetic voice.

Knowledge : Familiarity with legal terminology and an understanding of criminal law, family law, personal injury, and civil litigation.

Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn legal case management software.

Punctuality & Reliability : Must be dependable and maintain a consistent schedule.

Hybrid Work : Must be available to work in the office at least 2 days per week, with the option to work remotely on other days.
