General Summary:
Assure the effective functioning of TTC facilities to provide an efficient and safe environment for employees and patients and their activities by using best business practices to manage resources, services and processes to meet the needs of the company.
Works under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
- Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements
- Conduct and document regular facilities inspections
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes
- Allocate and manage facility space for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate intra-office moves
- Supervise maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
- Oversee facility refurbishment and renovations
- Plan and manage facility central services such as security, cleaning, waste disposal and parking
- Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency
- Obtain quotes and tenders from vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate contracts to optimize delivery and cost saving
- Coordinate and monitor activities of contract suppliers
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships
- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met
- Check completed work by contractors and vendors
- Verify payment and invoicing match contract pricing
- Plan and monitor appropriate facility management staffing levels
- Ensure efficient utilization of facility maintenance staff
- Performance manage, develop and train staff
- Prepare and track facility budget
- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
- advise on and monitor energy efficiency
- Oversee environmental health and safety
- Assure security of the facility
- Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures
- Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants
- Maintains essential department reports, records and pertinent data for administrative and regulatory purposes.
- Maintains high level of operational improvement and customer service.
- Troubleshoot/trace problems within building systems, evaluate solutions, implement repairs
Other Essential Duties May Include (but are not limited to):
- Changing light bulbs and ballasts
- Assist with physical relocation of departments (some furniture moving)
- Participate in emergency code team as directed
- Fire safety and monitoring
- ASC Life Safety Procedures
- Maintenance of clinic storage facility
- Receiving and delivery of packages and supplies
- Oversee Mail Room personnel
- Oversees the installation of all computer lines, phone cables, network cables, music and any related operating problems.

- Must have working knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, blowers, emergency generators, lawn and building sprinkler systems and electrical and plumbing repairs.

- Knowledge of vacuum systems, anesthesia gas delivery and function of other medical processes and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of building codes, ADA and life safety codes
- Excellent analytical skills and interpersonal communication skills
- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Flexibility and ability to adjust to a constantly changing work environment

Education:
H.S Diploma or GED
Preferred:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in place of education
