Dive into the intricate world of metal grinding to achieve the perfect finish using your expert knowledge of calipers and micrometers.
Your Role and Responsibilities
- Masterfully operate cranes for optimal material positioning.
- Expertly set up and adjust the Blanchard grinder for flat surface enhancement.
- Devise detailed operating procedures for a smooth grinding process.
- Monitor and adjust machines for exact tolerances and perfect finishes.
- Employ scales and indicators for precise setups and assessments.
- Decipher part drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in grinding.
- Firmly secure workpieces using magnetic tables and dedicated clamps.
- Use statistical tools to maintain process quality and ensure reliability.
- Daily inspections to keep work area and machine fluids at optimal levels.
- Engage in various other duties as they arise.

What You Need to Succeed
- Proven experience with Rotary Blanchard setups.
- Keen attention to decipher blueprints and create flawless interpretations.
- Expert use of forklifts to manage heavy components efficiently.

- Adept with measurement tools: tape measure, micrometer, and caliper.
- Nurturing a strong analytical approach.
- Adhere to safety with provided equipment.
- Familiarity with machine tools and workshop equipment.
- Keenly focused on detail orientation.

- Educational foundation: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience of 1–2 years in the grinding discipline.
