About the Role:

As a Night Auditor at Tolovana Inn, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the front desk, handle guest inquiries, and perform essential accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting. You will be the point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any issues that may arise during the night. Additionally, you will reconcile daily transactions and prepare reports that are vital for the management team. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to a positive guest experience and the overall success of the hotel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
• Basic accounting knowledge and proficiency in using accounting software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a night auditor or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with hotel management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in reporting.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Manage the front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial reports to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and ensure the security of the hotel.

Skills:

The required skills for this position include strong customer service abilities, which will be utilized daily as you interact with guests and address their needs. Proficiency in accounting software is essential for accurately reconciling financial transactions and preparing reports. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be responsible for ensuring that all financial data is correct and up-to-date. Strong communication skills will help you effectively convey information to guests and collaborate with other team members. Additionally, problem-solving skills will enable you to handle any unexpected situations that may arise during your shift.
