Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee the daily accounting operations of our business. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, inventory accounting, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions. 

Key Functions

• Maintain accurate and timely financial records, including general ledger, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and customer billing.
• Monitor cash flow, track business expenses and help implement and monitor internal controls.
• Manage payroll processing and benefits administration
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial analysis and recommendations.
• Drive improvements in financial processes, systems and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide ad hoc reporting to support the company in making strategic decisions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred but not required).
• 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
