Residential Heating and Air Conditioning Installation Manager

Tom Muse Service Company, a trusted leader in residential heating and air-conditioning services in Vienna, VA for over 95 years, is seeking an experienced Residential Heating and Air-Conditioning Installation Manager to lead our installation teams. This position is ideal for a skilled HVAC professional who thrives in a leadership role and is committed to delivering top-tier customer service and high-quality installations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of installation technicians, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
• Schedule and coordinate installation jobs efficiently to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct pre-installation site inspections and ensure all necessary materials and equipment are available.
• Collaborate with customers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and provide technical support to installation teams.
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC regulations and industry best practices.
• Monitor job performance and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage inventory, tools, and fleet maintenance related to installation operations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential HVAC installation.
• Prior experience in a leadership or management role within the HVAC industry.
• EPA certification and relevant HVAC licenses (Virginia state licensing preferred).
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, electrical components, and installation best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team leadership and customer interaction.
• Proficiency with HVAC software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the last five years.
