Indian Motorcycle of Lafayette, a Tom Wood Group company, is looking for a dedicated Dealership Support Person to join our team! You will handle powersports vehicles, such as motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs, and assist in keeping the dealership's inventory in top condition. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about powersports vehicles who enjoys working in an adventurous, lively, hands-on environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely move motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and other powersports vehicles to designated areas, ensuring proper placement and organization on the lot and showroom.
- Perform basic inspections of incoming units, including checking for damage, cleanliness, and fuel levels.
- Ensure the lot and showroom are clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers.
- Assist with customer vehicle pickups and deliveries, providing excellent customer service.
- Clean and detail powersports vehicles as required to ensure they are showroom ready.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory and ensure vehicles are correctly tagged and accounted for.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles from delivery trucks, including moving units between dealerships or off-site locations when necessary.
- Assist the service department with vehicle movement for repairs, maintenance, and returns to customers.
- Support dealership staff with additional tasks as needed, including assisting in special events or promotional activities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Passion for motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and outdoor recreation vehicles.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand, bend, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with the sales and service teams.
- Ability to follow instructions and ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and organized.
- Required- Valid driver's license with clean record, and a motorcycle endorsement, or ability to get one quickly.
