The Tom Wood Group, in Indianapolis, Indiana is currently searching for a Seasonal Maintenance Worker to join our team in the summer months. The ideal candidate should exhibit excellent time-management and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the repair and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of equipment for special events or seasonal activities.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment, facilities, and grounds to ensure safety and functionality.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Report any safety hazards, broken equipment, or other issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Work as part of a team and collaborate with other seasonal or full-time staff members.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and environments.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical labor such as bending, standing or walking for prolonged periods.
- Comfortability working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- REQUIRED-Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
