PURPOSE/SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced ADP Payroll Clerk to join our Human Resources team. This role is integral to ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll, onboarding new employees, and performing essential administrative functions to support our payroll operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process bi-monthly payroll for 600 employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
- Assist Employees with the use of the ADP app/website.
- Manage employee onboarding, including adding new employees to the payroll system.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of payroll reports.
- Manage multi-state payroll processing, including the enrollment and registration for State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) and state income tax withholding in new states as required.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and benefits deductions.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining employee records.
- Support year-end processes including W-2 preparation and distribution.
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is required.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
