Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist with internal and external HR related inquiries and requests
Develop standard job titles and descriptions
Maintain employee records
Assist with job posting and recruiting process,
Train / support new HR personnel
Review / Update HR policies as needed, employee handbook, orientation guide
Assist with compliance investigations
Track employee injury claims
Track FMLA / injury leave
Support other assigned functions
Qualifications and Skills
Experience as an HR Coordinator a plus, Nursing Home or Health field experience preferres
Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations
Effective people management skills
Good understanding of HR functions and best practices
Good written and verbal communication skills
Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools
Must be able to travel / work remotely when required
