Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting every customer in a friendly manner.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales and member retention.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Handle cash with care, ensuring all transactions are processed correctly and securely.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with both customers and fellow team members to ensure seamless operations.
• Come to work with a positive and upbeat attitude every day to ensure we maintain a positive culture.
• Report for all shifts in a professional and presentable manner while prepared to begin the day on time.

Skills

• Strong upselling abilities to maximize sales opportunities.
• Proficient in cash register operations with experience in cash handling.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
• Retail sales experience preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
