Job Summary:
Tommy's on Thomas is seeking skilled and customer-oriented Servers, Waiters, to join our team as we reimagine Tommy's for a new era!
As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, guide them through our menu, take food orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a fantastic dining experience. Duties:
- Welcome guests to the restaurant
- Present menus and provide detailed information about our food and pizza offerings
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals
- Serve food and beverages in a professional manner
- Be aware of ticket times and make sure food is going out on time
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and clean dining area as needed
- Assist with bussing tables during peak hours
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Collaborate with other team members to provide exceptional guest service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Good math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with using a POS system is a plus
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and culinary terminology
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
