Location: Islip, NY

Salary Range: $45,000.00-$55,000.00

We are seeking a Personal Injury Intake Specialist to handle initial client inquiries, manage case intake, and support the legal team with essential case setup and follow-up tasks.

(1 remote day per week after 90 days)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, handling all initial phone inquiries
• Send and confirm receipt of signed retainers
• Conduct and complete full client intakes for new retainers
• Handle attorney and medical referrals as needed
• Manage case setup and data entry in SmartAdvocate
• Establish claims with insurance companies and obtain necessary police reports
• Maintain regular client communication and ensure smooth case progress
• Assist with requesting medical records
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 3 years of experience in personal injury law firm intakes and retainers
• Associate's degree preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish fluency a plus
• Exceptional customer service and sales skills, with a proactive approach to lead follow-up
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment
• Experience with Mac OS and SmartAdvocate a plus
• Strong critical thinking skills to pre-qualify leads and evaluate case potential
• Professional, polished demeanor with excellent client interaction skills
• CRM experience is a plus
