Tonies US is looking for a Sr. Channel Operations Specialist who will be responsible for supporting daily operations, flow, and logistics of our B2B orders. This role reports directly to the Channel Operations Manager supporting order flow, fulfilment, routing issues, chargebacks mitigation and disputes. We are looking for a collaborative team player, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up environment undergoing rapid growth. A successful candidate will bring extensive knowledge of Consumer Product Goods wholesale order management and will use great communication skills and provide high quality service to all stakeholders.
How you will make an impact
- Oversee order fulfilment process from receipt of order through successful delivery to the customer for Wholesale retailers such as Walmart, Kohls, Macy’s, FredMeyer, etc.
- Partner with 3PL in management of the open order report to ensure orders are routed and shipped within the appropriate time frame.
- Review customer vendor guides and communicate any changes and/or updates to our 3PL partner.
- Review customer vendor guides for pipeline of accounts and communicate any changes and/or updates to our 3PL partner.
- Order customer specific product level labelling and packaging as per vendor guides.
- Process and manage product requests for sales, marketing, promotions, licensors, and employees.
- High level understanding of retail specifications, routing portals and chargeback factors.
- Knowledge of RFID specifications per retailer
- Understanding of Master carton configurations.
What we are looking for in a candidate
- 3 years of experience in operations, logistics, and/or supply chain providing operational support for wholesale accounts. Experience working with a 3PL is required
- Experience working within ERP and vendor portals - experience with MS Dynamics 365, SPS Commerce, Shopify, Amazon and/or NuOrder is a plus.
- Previous Consumer Product Goods experience in the major wholesale retail market required
- Ability to work within tight timelines and pivot quickly to changes in priorities.
- Detail oriented, highly motivated, organised, and self-directed.
- High level excel skills is a must
- Team player with the ability to build strong partnerships and communicate effectively with cross functional teams and outside partners.
- Experience in training and or people management a plus
