Role Summary

The Global Network for Change (GNC) is a transformative network of global leaders and changemakers dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing challenges. Under the leadership of Executive Chairman Tony Blair, GNC fosters collaboration on issues such as sustainable growth, net-zero targets, and climate action, providing members with unparalleled access to insights, resources, and partnerships.

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to drive membership growth and secure new financial supporters for the GNC. Reporting to the Head of Global Business Engagement, you will play a pivotal role in expanding GNC’s reach, building high-value partnerships, and ensuring financial sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate a pipeline of potential corporate members and donors.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals that align with GNC’s priorities and donor objectives.
  • Lead the full business development cycle – from prospecting and engagement to negotiation and onboarding.
  • Contribute to fundraising strategy, setting and tracking income and membership targets.
  • Represent GNC at high-profile events to build awareness and attract new stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders across key industries.
  • Identify and secure new membership and opportunities to support GNC’s growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in business development, fundraising, or corporate partnerships, with experience securing high-value memberships or donations.
  • Strong strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience pitching to senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of corporate funding models, philanthropic trends, and membership engagement strategies.
  • Passion for global challenges such as sustainability, climate action, and inclusive growth.
  • Represent GNC at high-profile events to build awareness, attract new stakeholders and maintain strong relationships with executive-level stakeholders across key industries.
