Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Assist guests in finding the parts they need, ensuring a smooth and positive experience. You’ll also recommend companion parts to enhance the guest experience.
- Communication: Ensure communication is clear with all service technicians and other departments/management.
- Inventory Management: Ensure inventory is replenished daily, monitor backorders, and manage will-call orders. Handle returns for unclaimed parts to keep everything organized.
- Order Fulfillment: Pull requested parts, notify the manager if any items are out of stock, and follow up on back-ordered parts to maintain efficiency.
- Payment Processing: Collect and record payments, ensure internal part orders are billed correctly, and issue refunds when necessary—all while adhering to set processes.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on all required training to ensure you’re always at the top of your game.
- Estimation work: Assist with generating estimates for repairs on used cars - consisting of parts and labor costs.
- Repair Orders: Responsible in learning how to open and close ROs (Repair Orders)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
