Sales Specialist - ignite your career with a purpose

In this role you will be focused on heavy cold calling, convincing stores to get onboard and save food with us. We will ensure you develop all the skills you’ll need to be successful. 30-40% of the role is travel based, launching Too Good To Go in brand new markets across the USA!

Your mission :
You're eager to build connections and grow our community by signing up cafes, bakeries, supermarkets, and any other independent food retailers in new, Too Good To Go expansion markets. You’re the first contact person of the store and will be doing a lot of cold acquisition, primarily on the phone, email, and in person visits. You will introduce potential partners to the world of Too Good To Go, train them how to use the app and advise them on finding the best possible solution for food waste. You will work with the team to execute city-specific launch strategies including researching expansion markets to find early adoption prospects and uncover local nuances, identify decision-makers, provide cross-functional feedback, and generate interest for Too Good To Go.
What we need :
- Expert relationship builders who can quickly assess a new market, connect and empathise with potential local partners (restaurants, coffeehouses, bakeries and more)
- Confident cold-callers - we are heavily reliant on making outreach over the phone prior to being in market, so you need be ready to make high volumes of calls
- Excellent listeners and communicators who know how to ask the right questions to identify a prospect’s needs while also presenting our proposition with clarity and passion
- Proactive business development, calling and visiting new prospects, with the tenacity to succeed even when things get a little tough
- Team players, who embrace the overall purpose of Too Good To Go and are ready to embody our values to be passionate, growth-minded, and creative
- Independent executors, who can prioritise workload while communicating clearly and openly with their manager
- Consistent and impact-focused performance that hits individual and company targets
