We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Marine Service Advisor to lead our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Marine maintenance and marine service management, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. As a Marine Service Advisor, you will oversee daily service operations, manage repair order scheduling, and ensure that all services are performed to the highest standards.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service department to ensure efficient operations.
- Manage service schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet customer demands.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of boats to determine necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with technicians on complex repairs, including motor repair, electronic installations and motor installation.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Process and complete warranty claims and ensure timely payment
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and teamwork among staff members.
- Drive sales initiatives by promoting services to customers and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
