Maintenance Mechanic - 3rd shift

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Mechanic will play a crucial role in maintaining production efficiency and safety standards.

Responsibilities

The applicant must be able to perform the following

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical/electrical systems including:
• Manufacturing/process equipment
• Automated conveyor and packaging equipment
• Building: HVAC and lighting
• Robotic cells
• Industrial communications networks
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and system drawings.
• Installation and inspection of mechanical & electrical equipment up to NFPA, GMP & SQF codes.
• Adjust parameters in machines, VFDs, and servos using built-in faceplate/HMI interface.
• Mechanically/Electrically tune and troubleshoot equipment for proper operation.
• Inspection of all operating parts to ensure proper operation within expected tolerances.
• Repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical components using standard hand tools, gauges, and procedures.
• Determine tools and equipment required to perform scope of job.
• Assemble, align, and install equipment as necessary.
• Clearly and professionally interact with internal personnel and external contractors.
• Must have a good attendance and safety record
