Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Park Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pet-friendly park. The ideal candidate will have a background in animal care and management, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for both pets and their owners. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a love for animals, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily park operations, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
  • Manage staff and volunteers, providing training and support as needed.
  • Ensure the well-being of all animals within the park by monitoring their health and behavior.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling events, managing budgets, and maintaining records.
  • Develop and implement programs that promote responsible pet ownership and community engagement.
  • Conduct regular inspections of park facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assist with animal care duties including feeding, walking, and providing basic veterinary assistance when necessary.
  • Engage with park visitors to address concerns and enhance their experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in animal care or management roles (e.g., veterinary assistant, veterinary technician).
  • Strong skills in pet grooming, dog training, or dog handling are highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and animal restraint when necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
  • Previous experience working in a kennel or similar environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
