We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Park Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pet-friendly park. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily park operations, including maintenance, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
- Manage staff and volunteers, providing training and support as needed.
- Ensure the well-being of all animals within the park by monitoring their health and behavior.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling events, managing budgets, and maintaining records.
- Develop and implement programs that promote responsible pet ownership and community engagement.
- Conduct regular inspections of park facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with animal care duties including feeding, walking, and providing basic veterinary assistance when necessary.
- Engage with park visitors to address concerns and enhance their experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience in animal care or management roles (e.g., veterinary assistant, veterinary technician).
- Strong skills in pet grooming, dog training, or dog handling are highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and animal restraint when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare.
- Previous experience working in a kennel or similar environment is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
