Top Echelon is seeking a highly driven, results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a hunter mindset to join our sales team. This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives on uncovering new opportunities, scouring for prospects at high volumes to build a robust sales pipeline.

What is a Sales Development Representative responsible for?

Uncover New Opportunities :

Research and identify potential clients through online platforms, directories, and databases.

High-Volume Prospecting :

Conduct daily outreach via cold calls, emails, and other engagement tactics to generate interest in Top Echelon’s solutions.

Qualify Leads :

Engage with prospects to understand their needs and determine if they align with our ideal customer profile, passing qualified leads to Account Executives for further follow-up.

Maintain a Healthy Pipeline :

Build and manage a robust database of potential clients within the CRM, ensuring accurate documentation of all activities and touchpoints.

Collaborate with the Team :

Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leadership to refine prospecting strategies and improve the lead qualification process.

Stay Informed :

Keep up with industry trends, market shifts, and competitive offerings to enhance prospecting conversations.

What makes you Top Echelon’s next Sales Development Representative?

Experience :

1-3 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally in a high-volume outbound sales environment.

  • SaaS or recruiting industry experience preferred but not required.

Skills & Attributes :

Strong cold-calling skills with a proven ability to spark interest and overcome objections.

  • A hunter mentality : tenacious, driven, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing time effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach).
