Working closely with the CFO and external auditors, the Financial Controller will play a key role in ensuring compliance and facilitating seamless audit processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the company's financial operations and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and meet regulatory requirements.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives, tracking performance against financial goals.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic planning and informed decision-making.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders.
- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financing activities.
- Streamline and enhance financial processes and systems for improved efficiency.
- Mentor and guide the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous growth.
- Oversee audit preparation by coordinating and delivering required schedules, workpapers, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- At least three years of experience in financial management, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, including cost accounting and inventory management.
