Job Overview

Duties

• Operate and maintain meat processing equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Cut, fabricate, and package various types of meat products according to established specifications.
• Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, including proper handling and storage of meat products.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards within the processing area to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
• Document processing activities accurately as required by company policies.

Experience

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in meat processing or food production, is preferred.
• Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and knowledge of food safety practices are essential.
• Familiarity with HACCP principles and mechanical knowledge related to food processing equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
