The Vice President of HR IT leads the strategic planning, implementation, and management of HR technology systems, with a focus on Oracle Cloud solutions. This role combines expertise in HR processes, IT systems, and Oracle Cloud to drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and optimize workforce management. The VP of HR IT acts as a key partner to HR leadership, ensuring technology aligns with business objectives and delivers an exceptional employee experience. Supporting Payroll and other shared services functions such as finance in managing business process outsourcing, offshore and nearshore.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the HR IT strategy to support the organization’s HR and business goals.
- Serve as a strategic partner to HR and IT leadership, aligning technology solutions with workforce management, talent acquisition, and employee engagement objectives.
- Stay informed about emerging trends in HR technology and Oracle Cloud, driving continuous innovation.
Oracle Cloud HR Implementation and Management
- Oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle Cloud HCM modules, including Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, and Benefits.
- Ensure seamless integration of Oracle Cloud with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, finance, and CRM).
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and new feature rollouts to maximize Oracle Cloud capabilities.
Operational Excellence
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of HR technology systems, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
- Oversee the management of employee data, ensuring accuracy, privacy, and compliance with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting tools to monitor HR IT effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing team of HR IT professionals, including system administrators, analysts, and developers.
- Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
Project Management
- Drive large-scale HR IT projects, including system implementations, migrations, and process reengineering.
- Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Partner with vendors, including Oracle, to manage relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, data privacy regulations, and corporate policies.
- Develop and enforce governance frameworks for the use and management of HR IT systems.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement controls to safeguard employee and organizational data.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related discipline (preferred).
Experience
- 10 years of experience in HR IT, including 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud HCM implementation, configuration, and management.
- Strong understanding of HR functions, including payroll, benefits, talent management, and workforce planning.
- Experience working in large, complex enterprises with a global workforce.
- Experience working with alternative HCM products; Workday, SuccessFactors.

Salary : $240,000 - $260,000
