Summary
The warehouse manager will be responsible for ensuring our inventory's timely and accurate shipment, following and enforcing standards and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Activities
- Recording attendance weekly, recording attendance points and disciplinary actions/resolving problems and conflicts.
- Managing office storage, inventory, and janitorial goods and supplies.
- Knowledge of trucking traffic. Updating records on transportation vendors.
- Enforcing DOT regulations and maintaining records for drivers and tractors.
- Maintain records for roll numbers and assign numbers for each mill.
- Supervise and train on lift truck, maintain all lift truck equipment, and supervise lift truck repairs.
- Maintain training/OSHA records.
- Maintain a supply of propane, spare parts, oils, and chemicals.
- Maintain pallet inventory and supply of treated wood.
- Order and release railcars, maintaining dock levels and restraints.
- AIB inspections and maintain records.
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing budgets and increasing efficiencies.
- Experience developing and implementing sales strategies.
Educations & Experience
- 5- 10 years of Warehouse Management experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
