POSITION SUMMARY
Recruiting Specialist will work with the hiring managers to source best candidates for open positions. They evaluate candidates, conduct interviews, and build a network of potential associates. Four main areas of recruiting: research and identify candidates, manage interview screening, organize job listings, and manage recruitment activities. In addition, will have some human resources administrative responsibilities.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Post job descriptions using social media and other platforms in order to identify viable candidates, in addition to posting jobs organize job fairs, attend work job fairs, and participate in on-line campus recruitment opportunities.
- Discuss and establish qualification requirements with hiring managers.
- Assist in formulating detailed job descriptions.
- Conduct phone interviews to create a shortlist of qualified candidates.
- Track and analyze recruiting metrics.
- Mediate between candidates and hiring managers.
- Perform orientations and onboarding with new hires, to include overseeing the buddy program.
- Assist in HR ad-hoc projects.
- Produce and submit HR reports.
- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and protect associate information; must maintain confidentiality about HR information.
- Support other HR functions as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: An associate or bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field a plus ; or equivalent work experience.
Experience: One to two years of HR experience to include recruitment and hiring process preferred; or proven ability to work within a team and to coordinate team activities.
Requirements/Qualifications: Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively. Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationship built on trust.
Skills: Presentation skills, motivating others, foster teamwork, customer service, emphasizing excellence. In addition, experience in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
