An excellent client of ours is looking to hire a contract Staff Accountant , primarily focused on GAAP compliance, accounting, and month-end close processes. Key Responsibilities :
- Lead month-end close tasks, including general ledger reconciliations and preparation of journal entries.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies between the ledger and sub-ledger.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain financial records and assist with audits as needed.
