Job Description:
The Account Manager/Customer Service Manager will oversee existing accounts, focusing on customer retention, business growth, and day-to-day operations. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication between the pricing, sales, and carrier teams while allowing the sales team to focus on new business development.
The candidate will primarily work with the asset side of operations but should have experience with brokerage as well. The role requires a strong ability to identify and leverage the potential within existing accounts and collaborate effectively within a team of 5–10 colleagues.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee and grow existing accounts while maintaining customer retention and satisfaction.
· Manage daily account activities, including business development, customer retention, and service.
· Serve as a liaison between the pricing, sales, and carrier teams.
· Provide multimodal logistics solutions and maintain strong customer service standards.
· Ensure smooth operational processes and contribute to improving existing systems.
· Support the team by alleviating operational strain on the sales team.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or customer service within logistics.
· Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to challenges and grow.
· Understanding of multimodal logistics and experience in both asset-based and brokerage operations.
· Strong delegation skills and familiarity with implementing effective processes.
· Flexibility to adapt to change and work collaboratively in a team environment.
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
