Server/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders and cash transactions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and possess strong math skills to ensure accurate cash handling and order processing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately.
• Process payments using the TOAST POS system or other cash handling methods.
• Ensure that all food items are prepared and served according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Assist with kitchen duties as needed, including food preparation and stocking supplies.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Familiarity with a point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift items, and perform bussing duties effectively.
