Labor & Employment Associate – Multiple Locations
Locations: Buffalo, Rochester, Albany, New York City, or Palm Beach
A leading law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3 to 8 years of experience to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney to represent public and private employers in a broad range of labor and employment litigation and advisory matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent employers in cases involving disciplinary actions, terminations, discrimination claims, and internal investigations.
- Provide legal counsel on state and federal employment laws, including compliance and risk management.
- Draft and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and severance packages.
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to develop comprehensive legal strategies for clients.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- 3 to 8 years of experience in labor and employment litigation and advisory work.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong academic credentials and ability to manage multiple client matters.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $132,500 - $200,000 (based on experience, skill level, and office location).
