Our client is seeking a full-time Paralegal to join our Hospitality & Leisure practice group in Chicago, with potential consideration for other office locations on a case-by-case basis. The paralegal will support attorneys by handling real estate and transactional matters, reporting directly to the Senior Practice Director while collaborating closely with assigned lawyers. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review real estate conveyance and closing documents.
- Perform due diligence tasks, including reviewing title commitments, surveys, zoning reports, and associated documentation.
- Coordinate the closing process for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and debt or equity transactions, including managing signature page packages and closing deliverables, verifying checklists, and handling recording requirements.
- Draft, review, and file UCC financing statements.
- Order and analyze UCC, lien, litigation, and similar searches.
- Manage entity formation, maintenance, and associated filings.
- Review and assemble officer certificates, resolutions, organizational documents, and other closing deliverables, with a preference for candidates experienced in drafting such materials.
- Compile and organize comprehensive closing books with detailed indices.
- Conduct routine fact or legal research, prepare reports, and manage filings for special assignments.
- Serve as a liaison with clients and external entities regarding transactional matters.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
