About the Company:

**Summary:**
The Top Tier Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in our customer service and technical support team. This position requires frequent travel (60% to 90%) across North America to perform upgrades, modifications, repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and provide training and support for palletizing equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Ensure customer satisfaction through positive interactions.
- Accept assignments requiring both domestic and international travel, sometimes on short notice.
- Complete work to customer satisfaction and obtain necessary approvals.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
- Assist in shop startups and technical phone support
- Communicate effectively with the Field Service Manager and team members regarding job progress and any issues.
- Problem-solve and pay attention to detail.
- Maintain confidentiality and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Travel safely and efficiently by air and car.
- Familiarity with motion control applications, operator interface design, and safety circuitry.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum two years of experience with large capital equipment design and operations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with electromechanical systems experience.
- Minimum of five years of electrical troubleshooting experience, particularly with control panel wiring and sensors.
- Minimum three years of Allen Bradley PLC experience or equivalent.
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite and ERP/MRP software.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Move and walk within various environments without assistance.
- Bend, stoop, twist, and squat occasionally.
- Stand or sit for extended periods.
- Full range of upper and lower body movements and manual dexterity.
- Visual acuity to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Ability to write by hand and communicate effectively by speech and hearing.
Location: Requires travel outside the Portland, OR area

Pay: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
