Information Technology Administrator

Top Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled onsite IT System Administrator in Shakopee, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of systems and networks.

Responsibilities:

·      Perform overall IT planning, implementation, and administration across various functional areas.

·      Collaborate with end users to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware, software, and networks.

·      Analyze business requirements to assist in selecting appropriate IT hardware and software.

·      Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems methodologies, processes, and specifications.

·      Assist in planning and scheduling of IT projects and initiatives.

·      Install and configure network infrastructure (LANs, WANs, wireless networks) and monitor performance.

·      Implement basic security measures and ensure systems, network, and data protections are in place.

·      Keep backup strategies and recovery plans up to date.

Ideal Candidate:

·      3-5 years of professional experience in a related field.

·      Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.

·      Certifications**: Relevant IT Certifications (COMPTIA A , MCSA, CCSP, CDPSE, CISM, CISSP) are a plus.

·      Scripting experience

·      Comfortable working with various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).

·      Strong troubleshooting capabilities and excellent communication skills.

Salary range $75,000- $80,000.
