Duties:
- Handle export orders, arrange customer pickups/deliveries, verify export documents, book shipping space, etc.
- Follow up on cargo movement, coordinate with relevant parties, handle contingencies.
- Provide pricing, order tracking, claims handling and other after-sales services to customers.
- Maintain good client relationships, resolve queries, and improve service quality.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Logistics, Shipping, or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in export operations, familiar with export processes and relevant laws/regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, able to read and compose export documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and ability to operate computers/systems efficiently.
- Highly responsible, and detail-oriented, with strong communication, coordination and customer service skills.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Prior experience in the shipping/maritime industry is a plus.
- Relevant certifications like Customs Broker, International Trade etc. are advantageous.
- Bilingual Chinese and English
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service or client services is preferred.
- Strong sales skills are a plus for upselling products or services.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Ability to type efficiently while engaging with customers on calls or chats.
- Experience in outbound calling is beneficial for proactive customer engagement.
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
