Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dynamic Nurse Manager to join our team. As Nurse Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment. You will provide leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical and leadership skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for team development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and supervise a team of nurses and medical assistants to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practices in nursing and ensure high standards of patient care.
- Oversee the utilization of NextGen electronic medical records (EMR) for accurate documentation of patient care, tracking patient outcomes, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Manage and optimize staffing and scheduling to meet the needs of the nursing department while maintaining compliance with patient care standards.
- Monitor staff performance and provide continuous education, coaching, and development to promote professional growth.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to foster strong relationships and improve patient care outcomes.
- Act as a resource for clinical and operational issues, providing guidance and support to nursing staff in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field (preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience in a nurse management or leadership role.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, preferably NextGen.
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
- A collaborative approach to leadership with a focus on team development and patient care excellence.
