Job Description
The HR Manager is a key member of the Topaz HR Advisory team, responsible for managing and overseeing all HR functions. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, labor law, and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, employee concerns, and grievances.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Develop and implement effective HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with department heads to determine staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee leave programs.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, labor law, and safety standards.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written communication).
- Experience with payroll, benefits, and understanding of New Jersey labor law, OSHA safety regulations, employee relations, and workforce planning.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and foster strong relationships with employees and leadership.
