The Role

TopCashback is currently seeking a passionate, budding copywriter who loves words as much as he/she loves breathing! In the role, you will gain first-hand experience at creating compelling content for our website and blog, while developing your skills in terms of on-page SEO, content management systems and the affiliate marketing industry.

On-the-job training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped to produce effective content which will attract visitors from search engines and convert them into new members of our website. We’re looking for creative-minded folks, since some of this content may otherwise be rather dry.

The Junior Copywriter position offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious graduate who is looking to grow their professional experience within a rewarding working environment.

Key Skills/Responsibilities

• 1-2 years of experience in journalism, copywriting or SEO (candidates will be required to provide examples of previously written work and will be given a copywriting test)
• Content writing for our retailer pages and blog posts
• Effectively integrate SEO best practices within the entire content process
• Work with the digital marketing team to identify ways of increasing website traffic and converting website visitors to new members
• Help the engagement and retention team with email and newsletter copy, when applicable
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-sufficient in content creation
• Detail-oriented and unafraid to go into detail where necessary
• Strong team player with initiative, a positive attitude and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of SEO and on-page optimization
• Basic knowledge of HTML is a plus
• Previous experience working with a CMS (content management system) is a plus

Additional training on tasks will be provided.
