Job Summary
As a Substitute Teacher at our public school in an assigned building Monday through Friday, you will play a crucial role in providing educational support to students in the absence of their regular teachers. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with diverse student populations and contribute to their learning experience.
Must be available Monday through Friday for Elementary schools 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or Secondary schools 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Communicate lesson plans effectively and facilitate learning in various subjects
- Educate and support students with diverse needs, including working with individuals with autism
- Manage classroom dynamics and ensure a positive learning environment
- Supervise and guide students through educational activities
- Implement special education techniques as needed
- Ensure student safety at all times
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques is beneficial
- Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and student needs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $130.00 per day
